Title: Happy Thanksgiving Everyone !!!! Post by: Sol on November 22, 2001, 05:00:00 AM I wish each of you a wonderful Thanksgiving, whether you're celebrating alone, with friends, or with family. I've invited a very good friend and his extended family to my house for dinner. His family is Mexican and I enjoy speaking Spanish and spending time with them. Next year I'm looking forward to spending Thanksgiving with my wife and her new family!

Thanksgiving used to be one of my least favorite holidays since I really do not care much for Turkey. In fact, two years ago, I decided last minute to head to Santo Domingo for Turkey day, because I had a long weekend off and the flight was cheap. I had to apologize to my sister for not attending her Thanskgiving Dinner at her house. Well, Thanksgiving day two years ago, I met my wife at my friends apt in SD. Last year, we had planned to fly back to NY in time for Thanskgiving with my sister, but had some Visa problems which prevented that. This year, it will be mysefl and my wife. She wants to make the traditional Thanksgiving Dinner. Turkey, Stuffing, Cranberry Sauce, Sweet Potatos etc etc etc. I HATE all that stuff, but will have my best Thanksgiving ever. I hope you all do as well! |
