Can anyone recommend a nice hotel with a honeymoon suite in Bogota? One friend recommended one place - it was $300 for the night. Gulp! Yes, I want to have a memorable honeymoon suite and yes I'm willing to spend more than I really want to for such a suite but I'm interested to know what other options there are. Is $300 normal or is that high? Sol, We had a honeymoon suite at the Pacifico Royale in Cali.When we went to Bogota we stayed in the same chain of Hotels ,they have 5 in Bogota.About $90 a night in Cali and $110 in Bogota(20 months ago)for a suite,first class places.They want to sell you other things for the honeymoon,take 5he suite and get your own champayne.You can do a search for the Pacifico Royale and the whole chain will pop up. Thanks, Pete! The Hacienda Royal in Bogota is 290.000 ($126 cash) for the honeymoon suite and it's in a nice neighborhood - Santa Barbara. We'll spend our wedding night there! Actually my wife was right ,it is the Pacifico Royal.You can go to www.hotelesroyal.com for all their hotels. They are 5 star hotels,as nice as I have seen,suites around $100.Colombia is great. My friend who stays there alot pays around $70 I think,he has to be their number one customer,maybe 90 days in 2000. Pete |
