Feel free to start whatever competing message board you want, but if it's commercial (i.e. has banner advertisements like Yahoo), then you must promote it elsewhere.  I've placed the URL on the spam list.  If you want to start a commercial free message system as people did with LWL and RWL
(see http://www.planet-love.com/info/ for information), then feel free to promote it here all you want, but commerical board promotion is not allowed, doesn't matter if it's someone other than the moderator who's earning the money from it (Yahoo in this case), as long as it's commercial, you can't promote it here.
