I recently returned from Bogota and had the time of my life; I met a beautiful girl which I would have never met here.  It looks like I'll probably go back at the end of August if she's still interested, but am considering going somwhere else if things fall through the cracks, or sometime down the road anyway.

Does anybody recommend agencies for other Latin American countries, such as Peru, Brazil, Venezuela or Costa Rica?  Your comments are geatly appreciated.

First, I want to congratulate you on having found your love in Bogota. Nelson's agency seems to be highly recommended and you just reafirmed this. It will interesting if you post some information on your experiences with his agency. Did you have to pay his membership fee? His website, which by the way has been hacked or is suffering from a heavy dosage of virus infection, claims to have close to three thousand members enrolled. Can you shed some light into this?

Try checking out Peru, I just got back from there about 2 weeks ago and I`m now engaged to the best woman I`ve known in my life. The city of Lima is way cool !!! I would go back in a minute if I could. I will be going back in the end of September to see my girl. My opinion is the Peruvian woman are the best !!! Just my opinion though, but they are sincere, passionate and very family oriented. Check it out, you won`t be sorry.

Hey Curious,
Never used an agency to meet. When through one and only, I think Golden and Red Clay also met their sweethearts this way too. If you want to talk more shoot me a private one, I can tell you some to stay away from.

I am so sorry, this past 2 weeks for me has been very difficult. Rossina and myself have been running crazy trying to get everything ready for Gary Bala. Not to mention being apart from each other, that difficult enough. PL will be getting a trip report and you will get a personal thank you from me for your past help. where did you stay at in bogota?  or did you use an agency, and if so, which  one??   i herd that mexican matchmakers is a pretty good agency. i havent been there personaly, but i have talked to a few guys who  sid that the women are very traditional and family oriented, which is a big plus. thanks!!!!

I used Latin American Introductions (www.lai.com).  I'm happy with them and will probably go back in just a few weeks.

JustCurious:  Your profile says you are 31 years old. If this is your age then you should have no trouble meeting women on your own, without the help of any agencies anywhere. I understand also if you are time constrained, then I guess agencies are good in that respect. My favorite strategy, being a country boy and believing that the best women are out in the countryside and small towns and not the big cities, was to rent a car (in Costa Rica) and drive. Met very many beautiful and serious relationship minded Ticas last year...Just an idea that seemed to work fine for me...Randy

Thanks for words of encouragement, but I don't speak Spanish yet and feel that if an agency brings women to me, the easier my quest will be.  Do you recommend any agencies?

Just curious,
   Be pro active man! Learn Spanish, in the states we are
blessed with so many resources you can learn it in so many ways, it is so much better to be able to express yourself
to the women without a translator between you.  Watch tv
in spanish, listen to the radio in spanish, get a dictionary, translate letters into spanish, find people who speak it to help you-do everything you can to learn it.  The payoff is worth the effort.  I am self taught except for some spanish in high school and have about 1 year to
full fluency.  You can do it.

I already purchased a Spanish learning series and will enroll in conversational Spanish at a local city college.  It will take a while before I can speak much though.

I have heard that Mexican Matchmakers is a pretty good agency from a friend who I met while living in GDL. Of course I am very biased when it comes to the women of Jalisco, as I am getting married to one soon...Randy
