YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA :) is a great moment for us. Im really happy. Things went very smoothly she said. The lady who interview her didnt ask many questions. They spent more time joking and about my name ...ha ha Golden...My wife thought was strange there in Peru and when lady mentioned it she goes .."Is different there too?" and of cours the lady said Yes ...ha ha ha...is funny...is a family name turned into a first name ! :)....they talked about work and other stuff the spent time chatting....was no problem. She said was lot of people there. She talked to one girl there her same age who was married to guy in Seattle. I remember seeing them when i put in paperwork at embassy. .......so..it all went smooth, and i didnt use a lawyer and did all the paperwork myself!! :) saved mucho money ! Guess all time in army filling out thought stupid government forms paid off. I knew how annal they could be if not done just right. ha ha ha...:P......but i know the paperwork things is not even close to being done. I know when she gets here i more to do. uggggg ....My wife should be here in about 3 to 4 weeks. We are setting date of 9/15 for her to fly in. ....IM SOOOOO HAPPY .....I really appreciate this site Patrick and to all you guys. The information here has helped me soooo much. Its the whole reason why i was able to do the paper work to get my wife here by myself. ..Thanks.......Golden

That is no where near the hard part! The hard part is making the marriage work! Can you imagaine the changes these women have to go through? Of course, we go through changes as well. But ours doesn't compare. Don't get me wrong the work can/will be fun, but it takes dedications. Brahs, don't think because she is over here with you, all work is done. Now is the beginning! peace/cuidate Title: Amen brother! ANYBODY can fly to LA, interview some women, pick one and get married. The HARD part is staying together. Helping her through a VERY hard time. We need to realize that in many ways, once they come here, we are ALL they have. Yes it is fun watching as they learn new things, see new places etc. When they get homesick or depressed, and look you in the eyes and say "yo tengo solamente tu", that is the hard part. |
