Looks like anti-Mexican feelings aren't as prevailant in Colombia as was once stated on this board.

Anyone wanna take a wild guess as to how the Coombians feel about Argentina? Lol.

Playing in a year like this year, with the Copa Mundial less than a year away takes away from the tournament because most teams save their best players for the qualifying games for the CM.

Even though most Central American teams suck (I wish El Salvador fixed up their soccer program) I think FIFA should expand the Copa America to include all the teams from the Americas even though the CA is traditionally a South American Tournament, I also think this would help to elevate the level of play of the Central American and North American teams.

On American football vs. Futbol, their two totally different games, why try to say what a AFP would do to an ASP?  Imagine how great the US would be in soccer if the sport was a passion like it is elsewhere around the world, the US is in 1st place in the UNCAF and the players on the team aren't even the best athletes this country has.

I was really disappointed in the performance of the US boys in Argentina for the WYC.

Donovan, Beasley and Convey would have had a hard time even making the Argentinian team yet they have been hailed as the future of American soccer.  We had a difficult time controlling mid-field in the two games I watched and our defenders looked lame. The U17s have their tourney soon.  Check out Santino Quaranta, he's 16 and scored twice for DC United on Saturday.

I'm sure the Americans would kick the Argentinian's butt all over the field Pete, but then again who cares, we're about the only nation who even plays the game. (-:

Now futbol (soccer) on the other hand is a real sport and the rest just silly little games....  (-:
