I just got a "hello, I'd like to meet you" email from one a couple of days ago. She's 35, divorced, 9y.o. daughter and has a (2 year) college degree, altough I'm not sure in what field. Want her email address? (I can't use it, I'm already fixed up with a nice Colombian)

I have an interest in going there so I've read lots of the postings on DR.  Only good things have been said about the beauty and friendliness of the DR ladies and their country, supposed to have beautiful beaches.  I hope to make it.  So many places to see, so little time...and money of course.

Completely agree with you. I just fancy going for a holiday from what I have seen from photo's it looks like a great place to go and relax and if the woemen are beautiful and friendly Fantastic !

Buzzy any thoughts on when you are going ? I have booked time off work to go in September

Thanks.  No I don't have a date of departure yet.  I live "at the last minute" type of guy.  But it looks like July, August, or September are targets.  Since I've never been to DR and there are no agencies there I was going to visit for only 3-4 days, and then fly on to a city that has an agency:  Lima, Bogota, Cartagena, or BQ. Do you have addresses and names of ladies in DR?  Or... how do you plan to connect with the sweeties? Thanks.

If you like Merengue and Latin Music in General, the Presidente music festival is in July. I think this year Mana is playing. Tow years ago it was Elvis Crespo and Shakira etc.

well if you want to know about there reputation, i can put my 2 cents in i have been going to the DR for the last 5 years, and have had severally experiences with dominican woman. the followup by ralph is pretty accurate, they are extremely protective of there turf (there man). and even more loyal then they are protective. as with anywhere, don't be lead by blind faith. but general they are much more loving than any american woman i have ever met.

I am Married to a Dominican woman. We didn't write to each other first but that is not a bad idea. I'm not sure what you want to know about their reputations.

For the most part they have a reputation for being extremely loyal, and fircely protective. I have seen my 5'1" wife ready to take on a BIG bouncer, getting in his face and telling him he better not touch me! LOL
