Guys just a little story for you.  After my divorce to a Colombian lady, I decided to try and date here (U.S.) and see what happens.  In the course of purchasing some investment property, I met a real estate attorney (I am 35 she is 28). We dated for several months and she seemed like a OK gal.  Now this was a American professional lady and during the time we dated I always kept this in mind (I had to, she was a hottie). This was my experience.....

We decided to go on a cruise.  I am thinking to myself this will be a romantic cruise for us to really understand each others thoughts and feelings. During the cruise she turned into the cruise directer for the entire ship. It was amazing and fun,... until.  She had attracted several swinging married couples to us. While I am sexually open-minded and think "to each his own" this whole situation blew me away, mainly because of my reason for the trip.  Well after telling her I was not into some woman's husband "you know what"  I thought the whole scene was finished.  Only partly.  On the last night of the cruise and partying all night I went back to the cabin and went to sleep and she stayed in the casino. Well,  about 2 in the norning , 5 women bust down the door (including my date) and things happened I can never say on this board.  While it was a unbelievable experience, I was kinda disappointed.  Here I am trying to make progress in a relationship and this happens.  I am thinking in the morning, this is the last lady I want to raise my children.  Well, she said she just drank to much and things got out of hand.  "Thats putting it mildly"

The last straw and reinforcement for me to stop dating A.W. happened when I threw a party for another investment property.  This was the first time I had met all her friends.  Before I know it I had people doing drugs behind the building and a gay couple making out (gross!) in the bathroom.  I could not believe it. This was it and  we broke up.

Let me remind you this was a attorney who worked for one of the largest firms in S. Florida.  I am back faithfully to Latinas.  While she was fun, that was all she was. Could you imagine this woman raising a daughther. Good luck David

Am new to this news group so hope I do not violate any etiquette rules. While the  cruise sounded like any normal males fantasy I am more curious about the divorce to the Colombian woman and what, if any, warning signs were there before the marriage? Not to be intrusive but after sitting on the fence for a couple of years and thinking about making a move I would be most appreciative of any information provided to avoid a similiar situation. TIA.

Look, I was a good boy, went to bed around 1 am on a cruise ship by myself. Have you ever been on a cruise?  Anybody going to bed at 1 AM on a cruise is considered a nerd. When the girls arrived I was sound asleep. I did not ask for this scene.  Am I supposed to be sorry for being caught up in an unexpected situation.  I am a man and I am attracted to women.

Again this experience I told the board about was not to raise questions about multiple sex parties. It was just one of my many fustrationg experiences dating A.W. and trying to find one lady in the bunch.  Heck, I was with a respectible CPA and on the first date she wanted me to do Extasy with her. I am thinking to myself, WHAT?  I guess it is my bad luck. See ya David

 Whether Curt would leave or not will never be known by the members of this board BUT you have to admit that judging the woman as immoral for initiating group sex with her friends while, at the same time, the man is participating in it - VERY WILLINGLY, mind you - is inconsistent.  How can he hold her to higher standards than himself?

Let's face it many guys tolerate or even cultivate women that are more adventurous or "less moral" while we are single. Many men have fantasized about such an oppurtunity. Taking part in a "once in a lifetime" oppurtunity and wanting the woman as your wife are two different things.

I personally don't see anything wrong if people wish to participate in such escapades. If all parties are consenting and no spouses or significant others were harmed, which in this case there were, I see no harm.

I think the answer is ...certian types of men desire to be 'Players", but the last thing they want to be involved with is a "Player Player". A 'Player Player' is a woman that plays the Player, which is not part of the Players agenda. Once played it is common for a player to bemoan the outcome and other participants.

Thanks for knocking me again. I guess if you were in my situation you would of run to the bathroom and hid?  Give me a break already. I am dating this woman and I take her on a trip to try to help us know more about each other and this situation happens. Heck you may be able to count on your fingers the number of days you have spent with your wife-to-be. And you are going to marry her?  I am not turning this into a personal attack but Wow where is your head at?  I take the time to meet and really know a lady and you rush into marriage and you have the nerve to put me down.  AGAIN GOOD LUCK WITH THAT MARRIAGE. Of course it is a double standard. Remember back in HS and College? Guys that had lost of "action" or partners were heralded as studs, women that practiced the same thing? Less flattering nickname. Heck, much of that still holds true.

 You don't think most men, prefer women that are "less experienced". Well. . . . at least most guys want to believe their wives were "less experienced". Face it men are dogs!

Face it, many men heading south do so to find a younger more attractive woman than they might find here. They are basically looking for women that accept older more "mature and distinguished" gentlemen. If that is what they expect in a mate, shouldn't they also be willing to Marry a woman 10-15 years older than they are?

Just another double standard.

You emphasized the incongruity of this woman's behavior on the cruise and her profession (law).  Would you have been similarly surprised if she was an engineer?  A doctor?  A journalist?  

Are lawyers expected to supress their urge to party or their sexual feelings during a vacation simply because of their profession?

It was a great date. and I can only remember my dates name. The only thing I can really remember was that they were younger than my so-called girlfriend. To make it worse, they were all 1st and 2nd cousins from California.  Also, one of the girls was just married and her honeymoon was the cruise! I found this out in the morning and felt terrible about it.  Can you believe this lady was on her honeymoon and she does this.  

I know this is hard to believe but I do live in South Florida.  It gets a little crazy down here. Anyway, I did not want this to turn into a Penthouse forum, it was just my last experiecne trying to date an A.W. David
