question guys, your opinion on these agencies that sell the names/addresses of the ladies . i guess the idea is to write to the ladies send pictures etc then if theres a connection you fly down to visit them . i cant find one actual agency in brasil , everyone of these agencies connected with brasil is selling addresses . also many of these girls on their web are girls that have been there for many years which makes me suspicious . any comments/advice ?

Hi,

I bought a subscription to addresses from International Lady (intlady.com) and was very pleased with the quality of women and availability of the women I found there. I wrote to a number of women at first, narrowed the list to three, and now there's one!!! I'm off to Medellin shortly to meet her.

I prefer the letter-writing-first route although different approaches work for different people. In my case I was able to weed out women who weren't a good match and deepen the intimacy with this one wonderful lady! We've been emailing for three months, talking on the phone 2-3 times per week, exchanging pictures, and I've sent her cards, flowers, and chocolate. We've had a number of important conversations so I feel confident that we have a solid enough base for me to make the trip after three months.

sol, that sounds very encouraging i have met very few men who have taken the letter writing method to meeting the latinas most seem to just fly down and join an agency and start going through books. i may just give the letter writing a chance . thanks for your story. oh, by the way good luck with your trip to medellin .

Every way can work if the effort is put into it. There really is no magic formula...  I wrote...had one visit me here...wrote some more...then visted an agency...nothing..then wrote some more and found a great girl...

The list of writers is fairly long actually.

Most guys start with 20-30 adress's some more, some less. Translated into Espanol. I used a translation program(I suggest not using a program if possible), a couple of recent nice photo's. Give a general idea of who you are, your bio, what your future goals are, a time frame to meet the choosen ones, your email addy included, stronly suggest to them to think about using(learning)email. Snail mail takes almost 7 weeks roundtrip to Colombia. Most girls don't have computers and MANY of them require the use of Internet Cafes, which costs $, compounded by transportation to and from. Many of the ladies that reply include phone numbers so that you can call them. Phone bills can add up fast, compared to email, I used both.

A good plan would consider meeting in 3-4 months, with a back up plan of visiting an agency if things don't work out.

IMO, writing gets a guy into the process in the interim period of planning a trip and actually buying the plane ticket. Once contact is made with prospective women, the sincerity index of the guy is put to the test. It is doubtful that if you pass all the intial challenges, that you will ever look back. I had several false starts, but persistence and perserverance finally payed off, with a woman more wonderful, kind, caring and loving than I imagined possible.

I only speak un poco Espanol and did fine, however the more Espanol you speak the more choices will be availible to you. Personaly I think having some adversity(language)is a plus in determining the womans sincerity and willingness and ability to adapt and adjust. This is a VERY BIG transition for them and not all of them have what it takes to make this huge jump.  However it does limit your choices to some degree.

I went the email route, and never considered using an agency....I guess, on postage of the letters plus cost of the addy's, it probably ran me $120 or so....and I was lucky and hit paydirt....Mike

And it has to be a Brazilian? OK, this address seller has about 60 Brazilians, and I know they are legit, because I bought some addresses from them and got some responses, including the one I'm now engaged to.

I bought 100 addresses from latin euro in december
55 were from Brazil

i am still corresponding with 2 of them and plan on going to brazil for 10 days in late June / early July

the only bad part is that the pics and names dont list towns, as i would prefer to concentrate on one area of a particular country.  The profiles are also very skimpy, but the price is right

hi jesse, well thats for sure the price is right and there are alot of pretty girls in Brasil . i have noticed that you are correct latin euro does not list exactly where the girls are located , he just says Brasil or Colombia when you finally get the list you find out the girls are scattered all over the country , back in the jungle ..everywhere . however i keep hearing more and more success stories concerning letter writing so i may just give it a try. so you are planning to go down june or july huh , thats when im going down i havent chosen a actual date yet but im thinking sometime between june 20th and july 20th ,who knows maybe we can hook up down there ?

actually July 4th is a paid holiday for me, so that gives me an extra day of vacation time to use in nice place
