Title: What is "tempo"? Post by: Scott on October 24, 2004, 04:00:00 AM I've seen it mentioned here, but never really described. It sounds like something I REALLY NEED to know about.

After reading this Jeff, all I can say is I still don't understand women wherever they come from. Title: Welcome to planet earth. LMAO! Post by: Jeff S on October 27, 2004, 04:00:00 AM ... in response to Re: I think you mean "tampo", posted by stefang on Oct 27, 2004
There's a good book out called, "Why Men Don't Listen and Women Can't Read Maps" That I thought was a really good synopsis of the differences between men and women. http://btobsearch.barnesandnoble.com/booksearch/isbnInquiry.asp?btob=&endeca=1&isbn=0767907639&itm=10 It was written by a husband and wife team of phds and injects a lot of humor into the subject as well as scientific basis. Wouldn't you know it, many feminazis consider it sexist - whoda thunk? Men and women actually different? Hoy crap! One more things everyone on the planet knew for 30,000 years until the liberals took over the school system. - Jeff Title: Re: Welcome to planet earth. LMAO! Oh yes, and you know, we ought to be promoting how similar day and night are, after all, they don't have to be so devisive. And what's all this nonsense about hot and cold - can't they just get along? I wonder if good and evil would just sit down, hold hands and sing "kumbaya" things wouldn't just be peachy. ...and turn off our pesky little brains. Wouldn't the world be so much more interesting if everybody were the same? Wouldn't electricity be so much safer if there were no positive and negative to make it flow? Since meeting Filipina women I have been astounded over and over that I had once become almost convinced that love for me could not exist. And at one time I almost fell for the Feminazi viewpoint. But one hostile liberated new age girlfriend too many, who couldn't accept love and yet whose main thing in life was to focus on her complex of "needs" to the exclusion of the rest of society...trying in vain to feed her failing ego at the expense of whatever fool was available to be milked of his self-esteem... I just thank God that there are places in the world where women are still allowed to think like women...call that the traditional viewpoint, but what it really is, it's instinctive, not learned from pseudo-scholarly man-hating feminist writers. One of my fears is that bringing a Filipina here might make her more like American women. What feminists don't know about traditional cultures like the Philippines is that "unliberated" women are so much more competent as human beings that they are tacitly in charge, quietly running everything, happy because they know how to get what they want from their men, and self-satisfied in a way that anyone would be who bothers to maintain a good attitude and a balanced viewpoint and realistic expectations...while miserable feminist man-haters get what they put out: contempt. They are just looking in the mirror when they describe the world as a hateful place. As for tampo, it runs in my family, but now I have a name for it. I'm sure it's not exclusive to Filipinas, nor even to women. Title: Great thoughts! Post by: Ray on October 27, 2004, 04:00:00 AM ... in response to Re: Welcome to planet earth. Feminazi student: “It is a shame that instead of trying to look at how we are similar and make the world a better place for men and women to get along in, we are still looking at how we are different to hold up a sexist culture.” O.K., maybe Candi(?) has a point there. How about if we all do our part to make the world a better place by trying to look at how men and women are similar. Here, I’ll start this off. The rest of you jump right in with your input. 1. Hi Ray, Typical Feminazi! Trying to suppress male hormones and turn us into women. They won't be happy until they find away to replace and eliminate us! They're just jealous because they don't have meat puppets to entertain their girlfriends. ;o))) Dave H. Title: Re: Great thoughts! I will answer #3 in the differences. Men put their hands up claiming the latest achievement of emptying the room while women deny they ever rip farts. They come up with an excuse that the floor has a loose board or something.
