Title: Recently Arrived K-1's... Question Post by: Howard on September 06, 2004, 04:00:00 AM The embassy in Manila returned all the stuff we submitted as evidence to Gerlie yesterday. She is wondering if she needs all the stuff--the zillion emails on paper we used as evidence--or just the stuff in the envelope she's not supposed to open? She said something about stuff in a rubber band that they said to take as well, but she is unlclear as to whether she will need the reams of emails as well at her POE? I can't imagine they will need that stuff to let her into the country, but I know that common sense and Immigration policies don't always mix :P Any help is MUCH appreciated! Keep the Faith! Howard, Even though she has a valid visa, she is still subject to questioning and admission by Homeland Security personnel at her POE. However, it rarely happens. Have her bring an envelope with some evidence of your relationship and proof of meeting just in case she is questioned, but there’s no need to overdo it. A few e-mails, a few photos, a few letters, a few receipts, etc. Note: If you don’t want anyone else to read those reams of e-mails, tell her to burn them :-) Ray Title: Honey didn't need it........................................nt Post by: Bear on September 06, 2004, 04:00:00 AM |
