Title: Hamlet? Post by: GregF on June 03, 2004, 04:00:00 AM Hi Hamlet,
I am just wondering if the Consulate in Ho Chi Minh City has found the paper copy of your visa application yet. They are telling me the same thing, That they recived the ellectronic file but not the paper file and that they must wait for the paper file. Any help you can give me would be much appreciated. I miss Trang so badly and am about to go crazy with depresion if we can't be together again soon. Thank You Greg F Title: Re: Hamlet? Yeah, Greg, they claimed to have possession of the paper file about one month after it was sent to them by DHL. But that was also after my congresswoman sent them a letter. My hunch is that they are overworked and they do not open up the DHL packages from the National Visa Center until they can handle them so they can tell people like you and me they don't have the paper file in the hopes that we will stop bothering them. Anyway, they then sent a packet to my fiance (the mail from HCM to HCM takes a week) and she completed it and returned it immediately by hand delivery to the consulate. The packet included the financial affidavit for the American but I had previously sent it to my fiance. (So if you haven't yet done this download it now and get an original to her.) Now, she must wait for another packet with instructions for the medical exam. We have no idea when she could get an interview. They seem to be disorganized there. I understand your emotions. We are very frustrated being apart. Hamlet Title: Re: Re: Hamlet? Post by: GregF on June 04, 2004, 04:00:00 AM ... in response to Re: Hamlet?, posted by Hamlet on Jun 3, 2004
Hamlet, Is it the I-864 Affidavit of Support that she will need. I want to make sure I send her the right form. Thank You Greg F Title: I-134 Post by: Ray on June 04, 2004, 04:00:00 AM Title: Re: Re: Hamlet?
