It was about child prostitution in Thailand and Cambodia. I knew it exsisted but not to this extent. Cambodia was the worst.

I saw the dateline segment last night. It was very shocking and heartbreaking how some men can be such deviants. That is why when some here paint AM as all being great, and it is AW who are the problem it is not so.
IF European and AM did not want those little children for their own selfish gratifications, child prostitution would not exist to such extend. If men in those countries really were taught to value women as equals and not property, this would not happen to such extent either.
There was also a segment on Oprah last week(I don't normally watch the show) which showed how some cultures have men marrying women as young as 8-10. Some of these girls then go through childbirth 10-14 and their bodies are too small to handle it. Some of their bodies are left crippled through childbirth, while a few die.
They are trying to do away with those customs. Also, female vaginal mutilation which is done to very young girls in order to keep them from feeling sexual gratification. Some of these girls get bad infections because the instruments are not sterile. Some as young as 6.
When you look at all of what is happening in the world, you have to admit, the U.S. is a pretty good place to live. Especially for women.
   Truly heartbreaking.

STEPHEN:

But it's not just the men in these countries....women (mothers) are consenting to the sale of these little girls.
