Just an update of what I found so far. You can call the Embassy yourself in Manila it cost $6 per call visa or master card. I chose to do that as I want to know first hand what is going on for myself. A very pleasant Filipina voice on the other end willing to answer any questions I had. I was told that March was already filled up with the K3 Interviews appointments. That April will most likely be the time of my Interview. I ask if she could tell me if it was the beginning or the end of April and she said she did not know. She ask me to call at the end of Feburary as she would have a date for when the K3 package would be sent in March. I ask her how long a notice in advance will the K3 package give you before the Interview in Manila and she said 3 to 4 weeks. I also called the Fed Ex in Manila, they said they make 3 attempts to deliver the package. After that they do not hold it at the office or storage area, they send it back. If you miss the Fed Ex package you can go to St. Lukes and the Interview anyway. Just make sure you have all the papers you need.

oh Ray, yes i forgot to enter that thanks. Yes I ask her about changing the address and she said it can not be done over the phone it had to be sent by mail to XXXXXX didn't get the details coz I said never mind keep the original address. That is when shs said to call back at the end of Feb and they will give me a date at when they will send the K3 pachage. Then my wife can go to Cebu and not wait so long away from home. March she said is filled up so the next time is April. So Ray your guess was so far very close, we will see if it will be on Fridayd April 2 - 16 or 23 ugggg. |
