Thank you for  remembering Tess / Stephen and everyone else too....

Right now  I am fighting a cold that has  effected me 25 %  enough to be annoying but not enough to knock me out.  Kat is  quite woried for this  but I am  optimistic.  I am  O D 'ing   on Oranges Chicken soup  aspirins  and  cough drops  to do the best I Can  ha ha ha.  Now all I gotta do is catch some rest.   I mostly packed  but  I  am  making 4 Kinds of cookies to bring to her and her family -- Reqired of a pastry chef I  suppose  but it is a pain to bake at home versus a comercial Kitchen ha ha ha.

Thanks for the encouragement.  I  have around 15  rolls of film I'm taking with me.  I'll probably  post  the  trip report sort of quickly  but  think the pictures could  be  a  while  as  my  old  computer  crashed  and needs to be  fixed  and  all the  periphrial  exiptment  fits that  machine.

I hope  I'll have  a  blast  though  and  I  am  not  wrried  about meeting her  at all -- Strange ?

P.S. For the cold: I would buy a Neti Pot at a health food store and flush the nose with a saline (sea salt)solution.

I agree.  That's a very good sign.  It means that you are comfortable.

I wrote to Tess for a year and then went to see her.  I had read all these "love at first sight" stories.  But when I met Tess I didn't feel anything special.  She was easy to be with....and I felt like I had known her all my life...and I felt I could trust her and talk with her about anything.  But I wouldn't say I was overwhelmed and smitten with love.

This (so-called) lack of appropriate feelings bothered me.  And then on day eight I realized that this was the best kind of feelings to have toward a spouse.

Just my thoughts.
