Title: I-129 received in Chicargo Post by: Peter Lee on October 29, 2003, 05:00:00 AM Well guys and gals my second notice came back and the past history from previous members they showed 45 days for approval. Xmas holidays will interfere with the schedule no doubt can any one guess of the time table on how long it would take. So far so good now it has to be approved. I am working on my 3 year tax statements now. The letter says 2 to 6 months has anyone had experience with the new Homeland Security in Chicago? Right now I am hoping for the best but expecting the worst. Maricel is back home in Abu Siaf country after applying for her passport which is on Nov 6 and the NSO Marriage Certificate which should arrive in 2 to 3 weeks at her Aunt's house in Cebu. She chose to go back home as it is cheaper and she can help her pappa with the new house. She makes breakfast for the carpenters in the morning and lunch at noon. I got to see her two younger sisters today on the web cam her email cafe had upgraded last week to be able to do the web cam. That was fun and they all seem to write English well. I now have been adopted by the sisters and the younger one was not shy. The motorcyle is getting it's 3000 mile check up and my wife is having fun with it. She was stopped already and asked for the regestration and insurance. They asked her for he drivers license too. All checked out and they were surprised coz mostly everone does not have all those papers in the country. She was asked if she was married and when she said yes they let her go. I am sure if she didn't have all those papers and drivers license it may have been a problem. She is in constant fear of someone stealing the bike so she always keeps it in sight. I plan on going back in Feb 04 coz I heard the air fares are the cheapest then and we would be 6 months appart then. So far so good but I really miss her now and look forward to each chat and email from her. Thanks all for the past advise it came in handy when I had to make those decissions about money for the house. I compomised and sent them $500 in good faith and when I go back in Feb as planned I will see what is going on when I visit. I can always help more then or not depends on what I see. I thought the good faith money was there in case they are really in a bed way it would help when they needed it the most. I don't plan on sending any more but I have to say it is hard to hold back under these conditions. I know it is the best in the long run so lets see what happens when I get there in Feb ok. If I don't get shot or kidnaped it will be quite and experience to see pappas farm and the construction of the new house.
