Title: Funny language barrier!! Post by: capt david on August 02, 2003, 04:00:00 AM As many of you know I am a teacher(world history). Era comes from a simple family, where a fish or chicken is a real treat. She is basicaly a city girl, from Mandaue/Cebu, where she works in the SM mall. Her English is pretty basic, but easily understood. As you know, I fish alot. Yesterday I tried over the phone to tell/describe/explain to her that I cleaned and scaled the fish. I could never get her to understand the word "scales"!!! hehehe It was pretty funny. later, capt david
