Title: Green card Post by: Humabdos on July 01, 2003, 04:00:00 AM Sallie got her Green card today. We filed for the AOS in March and had our interview on June 5th. During our interview they said it would take three to six months to receive the Green card, finely they do something ahead of schedule.

Have you considered selling that green card to a Mexican illegal alien for a couple of thousand bucks? You could finish off that nipa hut project in your back yard and she could report it stolen and order a new one. Naw, never mind. That would be illegal... :-) Ray Title: Put It In A Safe! Hey Ray, I wouldn't be surprised if illegals got my wife's Green Card. The response from BCIS was that they were behind and to just wait a few more months. We suspect that her orginal SS Card was stolen by a postal employee...perhaps for a relative...who now has the Green Card as well. LOMFL Dave H. Title: You Finally Got Lucky! [This message has been edited by Dave H] Hi Hum and Sallie, We have been waiting 8 months after the AOS interview (17 months since filing AOS) and still no Green Card. We were told it could take a year...or more! I guess we can blame the Miami BCIS (and TSC) for that, since dead terrorists seem to have a preference in getting their Green Cards here.
