I think the cheapest rates now are with Cathay Pacific through Hong Kong to Cebu. Make sure to bring your surgical masks (LOL) Ray Title: Re: SARS Express Post by: nealt on June 12, 2003, 04:00:00 AM ... in response to SARS Express, posted by Ray on Jun 11, 2003

Hi Outwest, I have read that SARS will likely make an even stronger comeback this winter. Meanwhile, governments and health organizations are patting themselves on the back for containing the spread of SARS. It must have been those silly little useless masks. Dave H. Title: Just wait... ...until the monkey virus scare hits the Philippines. I can see the news reports now: "Millions of monkeys slaughtered by worried Filipinos" Hey Dave, did you see where they were cutting up bras for SARS masks in Taiwan when they ran short of surgical masks? I didn't think the cups in Taiwan would be large enough to cover your mouth and nose, at least not my nose... :-) Ray Title: Hmmm... TNeal, Eva is the best well I've only flown China Air, Eva and NW to PI but EVA had Very few passangers I had 3 seats to myself. Price was 5-700 from the West Coast. Cute Flight Attendants but they all war MASKS this time. They Stop in Shang Hi Sheck (SP?) in Taipei, Taiwan. They arrive in Manila around noon were N.W. Airlines arrives at Midnight YUCK!!!! As for flight to Cebu you can catch one that same day on Philippine Airlines for around $78.00 O.W. out of Centinal Airport (new and nice). Or try Air Philippines or even Cebu Pacific they are cheaper and both fly out of the original domestic terminal. Any other questions just ask. Cebu Pacific Flight Attendants even play games with |
