[This message has been edited by outwest77] hey neal, do you get that to a landline? or a cell? and do you get the minutes they promise if you split up the calls? The reason i am so suspicious of these places is a guy recommended a place to me 3 wks ago, 90 mins to a cell phone in the phils for 10 bucks, I ended up getting 60 minutes, so i complained to the company, they ignored it......i complained to Paypal, took them ten days, then they refunded my money. but if you say this card gives what they promised, i would be ecstatic Title: Re: Re: Re: Re: phone cards Post by: nealt on June 23, 2003, 04:00:00 AM ... in response to Re: Re: Re: phone cards, posted by outwest77 on Jun 23, 2003

I got mad at them for charging me hidden taxes etc thus reducting my minutes, if you keep track of your minutes you will see they steal some of them from you, when i called them they said, oh sir its the taxes it says in the fine print.........I said that is BS, a sneaky way to steal your minutes, if it says this many minutes it should be this many minutes, I think they stopped doing that because when i bought the card it said 90 mins for 10 bucks, and now its 60 so now i bet a bunch of people complained and they are stating the real minutes you get for your money.....thats not a great deal to call a cell but its about the best you will find , Title: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: phone cards Post by: nealt on June 24, 2003, 04:00:00 AM ... in response to Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: phone cards, posted by outwest77 on Jun 24, 2003

[This message has been edited by outwest77] now i found a site that says that world 4 less is 10 bucks 151 minutes http://www.tel3prepaid.com/prepaidcard.asp?PosID=3908&ppcard=World_4_Less to the phils, i wonder if that is 1800 number access and what the charge is to a cell phone and what is the minute rounding and if there is a connection fee.
International calls billed in 3 minute increments. service fee of 40cents per dollar applies? (wtf does that mean?) I suppose that means a 10 dollar card has a 4 dollar service fee attached........which i am sure is not added to the price of the card, is is SUBTRACTED FROM YOUR MINUTES, which means they take away 40% of your minutes from the get go.....what a scam...............I am so sick of these cards saying you get X minutes for Y price, and then slashing your minutes with some BS charges in the fine print. I once bought a card that slashed HALF of my minutes, and they told on the phone, oh sir it says in the fine print xtra taxes and fees may be added........what this means is they add bogus charges but instead of being honest and saying you get this many minutes for this price, they
See what i mean , those cards scam you to death with the fine print. |
