Title: Hello DON2222222 I missed you Post by: Frank2002 on November 12, 2002, 05:00:00 AM Hello Don, Ghlad to hear you had a good time on your trip. Did you pack your pc again or did you invest in a lap top? This is your Canadian friend. I really laughed when I heard the story you told when one pen pal came to see you, and brought a lady as a chaprom and that she was also a pen pal of yours. hahha That happened to me lots with pen pals thier to. This is so if you write to women from the same town who are using the same dating internet service. Thet often have like 6 friends sign up with them at the same time at internet cafes. So your chances of wrting all of them are very great:-))))))
Don I have never been to Bohol before just Cebu, do you think the ladies are more traditonal thier than in cebu considering most of them come from large traditional families and small towns in Bohol. I noticed the ladies really stare in Cebu as well, but unfornately many are really getting into the material craze thier. Cell phones, clothes, etc etc.I thought of going to Bohol on my next trip coz I believed they might make better wives. Can any of you guys comment of this one for me? Maybe the ladies in Bohol are less pressured by thier parents and also material gains to pay close attention to white guys, but might make the better wives. I guess I really don't know but would like to see what you all think about it. The worst place to go for pen pals is in Manila, smoke, smog and women to much like western women for my likings. You were right Don about guys sending to much money. Many Japenese guys will often buy a house for the thier wifes parents and spoil them to the point that they don't even work. I found your advice helpfull you gave to me Don on my trip. One such advice was going to Ayala mal. If you want to learn my line here it is. "Excuse me can you show me on my map the way to the airport, certain hotel, this street that street bla bla bla, " Then after talking for a min,{insert 6 other bla bla lines here} I gave them my cell for text messaging, and it worked great. So great it worked, my phone was busy every night I was thier:-)))) Also the side stores along Colon street was good for that to. I wish I had the time to do other things coz I only had 5 days thier, due to by work load back home. If you get a chance check out club circus the disco place, I missed it, but would love a trip report from the place. If I can give you any advice Don it is this, check out some of the educated girls going to university,or allready graduated if you prefer older ladies, I found them to be very charming and can help with $$$$$$ once married to send money back home. Your long lost Canadian (student)friend Title: Re: Hello DON2222222 I missed you Post by: donb2222 on November 12, 2002, 05:00:00 AM ... in response to Hello DON2222222 I missed you, posted by Frank2002 on Nov 12, 2002
Hi "Frank", It sure is great to hear from you. I had wondered what had happened since we last talked. You can write to me at donb2222@hotmail.com send me your number and we can talk some more on the phone. I am very interested in hearing more about your trip. Yes, sometimes I do feel like a movie star in the Philippines. You are only 31, so I am sure that you got even more attention from the ladies. You should try going into the less travelled parts of the Philippines, you will find yourself surrounded by dozens and dozens of people eager to look at you and talk to you. Bohol is a very nice place to visit, for the sights, as well as meeting more ladies. Thanks for the advice, if I do marry another Filipina, I will probably look for an older, professional woman. Talk to you soon, Don Title: Hi Frank Post by: Ray on November 12, 2002, 05:00:00 AM ... in response to Hello DON2222222 I missed you, posted by Frank2002 on Nov 12, 2002
Welcome to Planet Love! Instead of trying to determine which island or which province has the women who make the best wives, why not concentrate more on the individual and take them as you find them. There are many nice, sweet ladies in Manila who would make a fantastic wife for any man. And there are some real witches in the remotest villages. I would recommend that next time you go over, try to get away from the big cities and travel around the country as much as you can. Life is much different out in the provinces and you’ll have a chance to meet a wider variety of people. If you don’t care for Manila, that’s fine, but remember that some of the guys on this forum found real gems right there in the midst of the smog and noise of Manila, so don’t write those ladies off completely. I wish you luck in your search, Ray Title: Re: Hello DON2222222 I missed you Post by: Frank2002 on November 12, 2002, 05:00:00 AM ... in response to Hello DON2222222 I missed you, posted by Frank2002 on Nov 12, 2002
Don did you not feel like a movie star in Cebu with all the attention you got thier? I almost did. Just imagine guys like Brad pit getting that in good ole Usa. So I guess you should be called the filipina brad Pitt now????? I am just teasing Don. I must admit though that I am getting a little lonely for some attention these days. Those girls in Cebu spoiled me, coz they can sure help a guys confidence though right:-))))) But it is a nice feeling isn't it? I guess I got plan my next trip soon and save up on those air miles:-)))))) As far as pen pals go, I found I would not do it again or relay so much on them again during my next trip, for many of the reasons you gave. . At least I knew what they looked like really, and not some 10 year old pics I somtimes got wrting to filipina's:-))))) That is why I would never do the pen pal thing again, or at least to the extent I did before.

I am home now. Yes, I think it is better to have a friend introduce you, or to meet the Filipinas in person. There are too many people with less than honorable intentions on the internet.
