I noticed Hum down below giving howard tips on great peaceful places to stay. I spent waaay to much time in manila last two trips and although i love spending time with my gf and i stupidly paid the hotel one month in advance, because i got half price, im done with My first trip in april we went to puerto galera, and the snorkling was wonderful, we realy enjoyed the boat trips but neither of us dive. Peaceful place not too close to luzon, with nice beaches, but not obviously a tourist haven like Boracay, somewhere off the beaten path I would appreciate any advice Title: Siargao Island Post by: Ray on November 18, 2002, 05:00:00 AM ... in response to Hum and other divers, posted by outwest77 on Nov 18, 2002
Shhhhh! Don’t tell anyone else, but I think this is exactly what you are looking for. Far from Luzon, not close to anything, one of the world's best beaches, almost no tourists, cheap (beach cottages for $6), peaceful, quiet, no internet, etc. Just don't go during the surfing tournament (Sept/Oct)! http://www.geocities.com/CapitolHill/Congress/9544/ http://surigao.tripod.com/surfing.html Ray Title: Re: Siargao Island Post by: outwest77 on November 18, 2002, 05:00:00 AM ... in response to Siargao Island, posted by Ray on Nov 18, 2002
