Title: Off topic Question
Post by: NoNamePinay on September 21, 2002, 04:00:00 AM

Hi everyone,
I know this is an off topic Question but just want to ask your advice or suggestion to what kind of software program is best to use to manage financial expenses, business profits, taxes, or etc... I want to keep organize & track of everything for income tax purposes but not sure which program to use. Did you guys ever use Quicken & Money programs & how's the result? Thanks in advance!

NNP,

Quicken is the better of the two you mentioned.  It has lots of online support and is relatively easy to use.  If you are running a business, I reccommend Quiken's Quick Books.  That's what I use for my businesses.  It's can be as simple or as complicated as you want it to be because you can adjust things on the fly, without having to re-enter all of your financial data.  PLUS every accountant that I know supports Quick Books.  I would assume that a personal accountant could help you get Quicken set up to do what you want, assuming you can't get it to do it yourself :)

Hope that helps :)

Keep the Faith!

Hi Howard,
Thank you so much for your suggestion & advice!!! that was nice of you :). My husband & I just started our own business and He wants me to do the bookkeeping because He don't have time to do it by himself so that means we need to hire a Personal Accountant to help me get the Quicken set up then after that I have to learn to do the accounting myself huh! I hope I can handle it, we'll see...;) Gee, If I've known that I would do this kind of stuff now, I should have take the Business & Accounting course huh! oh well it's too late now. Thanks again I really appreciate it!!!
