Title: observation Post by: Febtember on September 13, 2002, 04:00:00 AM Its been 1 year and 2 months since I arrived here in U.S and my Hubby still love me.What a miracle.This is my observation the day I arrived here tell now.
1.too many roads(theres country road,highway,freeways and interstate) 2.everybody have car(i never see anybody walk down the street except for the hitshicker) 3.lots of machinery 5.not too many kids in school( P.I schools over crowded with kids we are the number children producer in the whole world maybe) 6.big houses and lots of extra room 7.almost every nieghbor we have had boat(make me think that this area maybe always flooded 8.everythings high tech,malls door automatically open and toilet automatically flush 9.dogs and cats have their own food.they even train for pottie,they were very smart too 10.too huge place and really big land but you will surely starve to death if theres no delivery of food in the stores.even us living here in the farm we still starve to death because no available food around.unlike in PI we have all kinds of food we have ocean and lots of vegetables and fruits plus more variety of yam. 11.american never sleep on the floor they always complain about back ache why it never bother us filipino because were use of it 12.meals always different 13.they always have hot and cold water for shower(when my hubby first visit me in P.I he bring shower bag because we dont have shower we never know that his not use of cold water so we put cold water on his shower bag take him 1 minute to take a bath.too short 14.people always say hi and how are you even you don't know them (at first make me all surprise why they greet me 15.not too close with family 16.kids have no respect for elders in P.I we use Ate ,Kuya,Tita,Tito etc.as sign of respect and bless (mano) for elder 17.too many baby stuff(my parents in law keep buying baby stuff for my baby that I'm not even familiar what the uses of them so I keep asking what this for 18.fishing is sports here but livelihood in P.I(hubby really wanted to catch big fish for record and he did try his best to search what best bait for catfish and one guy advice him a dog doodoo or stink bait 19.dog always have doghouse and dogloo 20.long distance place 21. have auction and yard sale 22.people wear shoes all time(in P.I we only wear shoes in work,schools and special occasion but when your home wear flip flop slipper 23.no gasoline boy 24.automatic car wash 25,barber shop too expensive(I let my hubby cut my hair to save money.I have hollywood hairstyle now like jennifer anniston haircut.I'm proud for hubby he did a great job on my hair 26.nobody pay much attention on cellphone. 27.if you buy something in wallmart sometimes the clerk forgot to take the alarm make you feel all nervous when your about to exit then heared voices from speaker.I ask my hubby what the voices say and he tell me that the voices say like this" Quit trying to steal our merchandize you dirty scambag.Bring it back you low life scam before we force to shot you.Made me all funny. Those are great observations Raquel! I love your stories. Sallie doesn't like dirty finger nails at all! It's a big turn off for her. O well I guess she can't be perfect he he I'll keep them clean because I love her. She is letting her hair grow because I don't care for short hair. Keep the stories coming!
