Title: Saw A Great Movie Last Nite... Post by: RickM on April 13, 2005, 04:00:00 AM named "A Foreign Affair" on the Sundance Movie Channel...
It was about 2 brothers who are farmers living way out in the boonies and their mother dies. During the movie...One brother catches on to the fast pace while in Russia and starts nite-clubbing,partying and banging anything he can get his hands on,(some pretty nice-looking stuff...) while the other brother tries disecting every lady he interviews on the socials to the point like he is choosing buying a brand new Chevy Pick-Up... Has a great funny ending for those who have not seen it yet but all-in-all the story is right on the mark about what should be most important about relationships, marraiges and choosing them in life... It's on DVD now, but has been retitled "2 Brothers and a Bride." I'm currently meeting my RW abroad without the use of the Internet...I'm curious, can anyone who has gone to socials testify to the accuracy of the movie regarding the environment, the depiction of the women and personalities of the men attending? Supposedly the setting and extras in the film are from a real AFA social. Dumb movie, bad actors and terible plot. Why doesn't somebody make a Michael Moore type of documentary on going to Ukraine or Russia and finding a decent lady. That AFA movie was awful. Pee-U! |
