Title: Russian Invitation/Visa Post by: jrm on April 07, 2004, 04:00:00 AM It's been a few years since I have been to Russia. Anyone have suggestions on invitations at a fair price. Is making a hotel reservation for one night still the "best" deal? Thanks.

I use http://www.go-russia.com/ for my travel voucher(invitation). I apply for the visa myself because it isn't difficult and is usually much cheaper than any service will do it for me. They've always listed a hotel in the city(Volgograd and Vladivostok) that I was going to on the voucher. I've never stayed in a hotel to register my visa. I've always paid the hotel $5-10 USD for the registration and that was it. Other's experiences may vary. Title: jeez, thanks...! I had just e-mailed my friend to meet me in Ukraine, where I have a 5 year business visa. But now, maybe we can meet in Russia. Thanks Zink! |
