Title: Anybody been to Cyprus in 2004? Post by: Philb on March 22, 2004, 05:00:00 AM As Of January 1, 2004 Cyprus started requiring entry visa's for citizens of Russia and Ukraine. This was part of their agreement for entry into the EU.
I was wondering if anyone has gone there with their Ukrainian or Russian girlfriend since this requirement went into effect and if so what was your experience with the process. I was planning on going there with Lena this May. Infact, I had already purchased the tickets not realizing this change had occured. Good thing my tickets are refundable :-) Title: Which side? Does that apply to the Turkish side (north) or the Greek side (south)? Or both? Turkey is still a long ways (5-10 years) from EU membership, so I'd suspect this only applies to the Greek side.
