Title: Hotel in Kiev near Embassy Post by: Stan on February 05, 2004, 05:00:00 AM Hey Guys,
Gotta question for you. My cheap, penny pinchin' sister-in-law will be taking my 72 yr.old MIL to Kiev to apply for a visa to come visit us this spring. The train gets to Kiev around noon and her appoitment is at 8:00am so they will have to spend a night there. Here's what I'm looking for if you can help me? A nice (by Ukrainian standards) room for the two of them for one night. (March 2nd) We know if we send big bucks for a Western standard hotel, the sister-in-law will just keep the $$$ and put Mama up in some flop house. Am looking for somewhere I can book on-line and trust them w/my credit card #. (I know,,,,, good luck) ;) Thanks in advance, Stan Title: Rent a flat from Jack... Don't even think about it. Just rent a flat from him. I've stayed at his flats & will CONTINUE to stay there. They are far better than any of the hotels I stayed at in either LUgansk or Zhytomir. Easy choice. Title: Re: You might call the Embassy Post by: wsbill on February 05, 2004, 05:00:00 AM ... in response to Hotel in Kiev near Embassy, posted by Stan on Feb 5, 2004
As they might know of a decent place nearby or call Jack and send him a check or money order and his friends can pay the bill in advance. |
