Title: Great link for city populations in Ukraine- Post by: Buddabelly on November 02, 2003, 05:00:00 AM I am interested in the city sizes in Ukraine as I would like to try to hit a couple of cities that are not the typical places for foreign guys to go like Kiev or Odessa, but yet are not so small that it would be tough to find much there.. So I did some searching and found a nice link that shows populations of all the major cities and their respective regions seperately.
It's: www.citypopulation.de/ukraine.html It's perhaps a little out of date as it measures the populations as of 12/2001 but I think it's pretty acurate and detatiled. Some of the cities I looked at (and these are the cities not the regions)- Kiev 2.611 mil I found this helpful, hope someone else may as well. You just put your cursor over any city on the map and it tells you the population! It's really helpful! BB |
