WHISTLE BOMB BLASTS DOG A dog seeing a whistle bomb thrown on the road picked it up with its teeth and was blasted to smithereens when the giant firecracker exploded. This happened in barangay Basak, Lapu-lapu City recently. Witnesses said the whistle bomb did not immediately explode on the ground... until the dog saw it and picked it up. GIRLFRIEND MAULS BOYFRIEND A young man had an argument with his girlfriend in a parking lot in Sudlon, Lahug, last Wednesday. The argument got so serious the girlfriend beat up her boyfriend to a pulp, necessitating the BF's hospitalization. Not content with mauling her boyfriend, the girlfriend also vented her ire on her BF's car breaking the windshield, headlights and side mirror. (JS)

Doing well Joe, Thanks...Actually I am considering a quick trip to PI in May as a distraction from having my head buried to much in work. Shadows trip stories also have me missing it now. Joe, I haven't firmed anything up completely yet..but Cebu and Dumaguete are on the list. Joe if you like travel stories check out this website, and reference the travel stories. I found it the other day and enjoyed the ones from PI as well as many of the others. Yea, I was laughing at that one too Jay...talk about paranoid. A little caution and common sense is healthy but that guy was over the top. What amazes me sometimes is the different mindsets that we all approach traveling to other countries with. I don't think you could ever put a price on having a healthy dose of many international travel experiences. Hope your enjoying florida these days..take care.. Zeb |
