Title: Travel Puerto Rico
Post by: tbirdjoy on June 18, 2003, 04:00:00 AM
Since PR is a US territory are UW/RW allowed to re-enter the US from a trip to PR (prior to receiveing their residence card)?  I wonder if I'll still need to get her an Advanced Parole if I took her there?

As a Ukrainian citizen and not (yet) a permanent resident of the USA, she'll need to apply for a Puerto Rican visa before traveling. And, she'll need the travel doc.

The below list is for Ukrainian citizens:

NO VISA from US
---------------
U.S. Virgin Islands = if USA resident
British Virgin Islands = 14 days if USA resident
Puerto Rico = if USA resident

EASY VISA
---------
Cyprus = visa on arrival
Jamaica = visa on arrival for tourist to 3 months
Marshall Islands = visa on arrival for tourist to 3 months

NO VISA
-------
Antigua/Barbuda = 1 month
Barbados = 28 days
Dominica = 21 days
Dominican Rep. = 90 days + tourist card on arrival
Ecuador = 90 days
Grenada = 3 months
St. Lucia = 28 days
