It is good to write about the good experiences with INS as well as the bad... after them telling us it would be 2 or 3 months before we got the card ... we got it in 2 and half weeks... course they got her middle name wrong...and I guess we will have to contact them next week to change it... and that may be a different story.. but even so it is so great to have that gold.. er green card in our hands...

Hey Keith-

  We had the same thing happen when we got my wife's green card.  They used her original middle name instead of her maiden name.  But we decided that it didn't matter for us.  She only needs it to enter the US again and will actually be of no consequence to the Ukrainian authorities.  And since her passport is still in her maiden name anyway, we decided it was not worth the hassle to replace it.  But it does make you wonder who they have typing in the information over there.  They have you fill in all these details on the form when you apply so what's their problem?
