Post by: Frank O on January 21, 2003, 05:00:00 AM I mean I hear of many guys here dumping girls at the sign of red flags but has ANYONE ever gotten dumped by a girl? I'm currently in a situation where I'm growing VERY impatient with a girl (especially when there are SO MANY others willing to go out with me) & I'm just wondering if she is TRYING to force me to give up on her or dump her instead of her doing it. Anyone know? I'm just VERY curious about this. I've never heard of anyone getting dumped. Usually they just end up REALLY messy if one doesn't dump em early.

Frank, I cannot speak of Ukrainian women as my experience is with Russians. I would be very suspect if any woman (of any country) was not selective in her pursuit of a husband. If any guy would do, what is her real motivation? My wife had numerous opportunities to marry Americans and Russians. She didn't "play" them, but all were turned away. Between some girls that are just 'playing' guys - and some girls that get 'cold feet' when presented with the REAL possibility of leaving their home and family and friends behind - and some girls whose 'standards' are genuinely high, the girls dump guys pretty frequently. No-one has any percentages, of course - but I personally know of guys that have been dumped for all these (and other) reasons. Contrary to some beliefs, many of these girls are not at all desparate and they will NOT jump at just any chance to depart Ukraine. I think you'd be surprised at how many ladies just get 'cold feet' and decide they cannot leave their homes and families. I know of several guys that have experienced it. I think in my case my lady got "cold feet" as well. It's like she had thought about etc but when I actually presented the fiancee visa forms etc she REALLY thought about it & t freaked her out. I also agree that MANY or MOST girls are not "desperate" to leave Ukraine other than for a REAL relationship unless of course they are scammers which in most case means they will NOT leave Ukraine anyways as it's more profitable for them to have money wired to them over there. Anyways I've just never heard of it personally so I was wondering if my lady just wanted me to give up & dump her rather than her dump me or not having the heart to do it.
