Title: What countries don't hassle Ukrainians? (visa Post by: Frank O on December 02, 2002, 05:00:00 AM Just wondering what countries are easy to visit with a Ukrainian lady without getting hassled regarding a visa. In other words if I go & want to get out of there to a nice beach resort. I was planning on Spain or Greece was but informed that could be a hassle. I was told Turkey, but what places there? I would just like a nice quiet romantic beach getaway. Any info would be appreciated.

At this time of the year and for the rest of the winter, a lot of Ukrainians/Russians go to Hurghada, Egypt. Lots to do and a warm climate, and not too expensive. Crimea, the Carpathian mountains and if it's a beach you must have, have you read anything about Kievs Hydropark? But if you've already promised her a foreign holiday then consider some of the advice below. Always worth checking on the Spain and Greece Shengen Visas, I said they could be difficult, not impossible. You could just go to Russia. I have heard Sochi is nice...comparable to Miami. But I have never been there. There is a small town in the Kaliningrad region called Svetlogorsk. I have been there and it is very nice. You would have to go in Summer since it is on the Baltic. Seems they mostly attract German tourists there, so pack a dictionary :) |
