I've been researching the Grand or Solec hotels in Warsaw. Anyone have any other suggestions ?

Depending on the dates of your stay, it is possible to get a room at this beautiful 4-star hotel in the center of the city for well under $100 per night.

It has a wonderful breakfast buffet (included in the room rate) and the convenience of both an on-site travel agent and business center (for internet access).

The US Embassy is a short 5 minute taxi drive away - and is possible to walk if you are vigorous.

The Grand is closer to the Embassy, but it only a 3-star hotel and is about the same caliber as a US-domestic Best Western. Not bad - but nothing to write home about.

Check out this site for additional options -- www.hotels.poland.com

Good luck,

Try the Europejski Hotel.
