Title: An announcement Post by: Marty on October 26, 2002, 04:00:00 AM I am humbled and extremely proud to announce the birth of Nathaniel Phillip. Born today, 7#3oz at 340am, the first for either Larisa or I, a gift from God. I'd like to brag about my wife. She broke her water at 7am (yesterday), started the induced contractions at about 10am, worked at it until 2am this morning having about 300 contractions (quick calculation). Totally whipped from pain and exhaustion, with tremors so bad they couldn't get a blood pressure check, she still wanted to go on rather than have a c-section but of course the doc and I wouldn't allow it. I'm pretty much an outdoors person and take to things physical but I'm in total awe of the raw power and courage found in the petite, beautiful body of my wife. So smoke a cigar and have a drink on me, my friends, I'm feeling good. Title: I had a "Don Diego Reserve" last night.
