* Kuchma's corruption and unwillingness to relenquish power. * Chezchen terrorists and Russian response I found the article about the uncomfortable relationship between Ukraine and Russia particularly interesting. Dan, Here is a *really* bad answer: White - for the color of their skin Blue - for the way the long winter makes them feel Red - for all of the blood spilled by the Red Terror :) It is kind of a take off on the African national flag ("green for the color of our country, black for the color of our skin, and red for the blood we have shed in our struggle for freedom", etc ) Sorry to everyone but I could not resist the sarcastic parody.
