Are you using a mouse button that defaults to a double click? Or, I guess the obvious question would be, Are you really double clicking the button?

There is a setting in the "properties" of the DESKTOP, which allows you to have a preference of a single click instead of double clicking to launch an icon. I think it's around the "active desktop" settings.

You have an interesting situation, but I also don't think it warrants leaving the group if you find the topics interesting and like to participate.

In time, I think you'll find the solution, so i the mean time, don't worry about it.

You can't really double-click and double post. It only accepts one at a time even if you triple click.
