Hello all:

I am off to Ulyanovsk next week to spend a few days meeting my wife's friends, whom I have heard so much about (and who, no doubt, have heard a lot about me). Lena has asked me to bring a list of agency and personals web sites with me. It seems there has been an unexplained rise in interest among the locals about internet dating :)

So I have cut/pasted 80 or so sites from the agency listing. I have been out of the game for a few years, but it sure does seem the list has grown of late. I visited a few of the sites and most have easily identifiable links to applications in Russian, where I assume the women would be informed of any fees or responsibilities on their part.

I notice on FirstDream, for instance, there is a reference to a "Planet Love Preferred Site." I would dearly love to narrow this huge list down to a half-dozen or so sites with the best return on the ladies considerable time and resources.

Is the a list of "Preferred Sites" posted somewhere that I could use? And relatedly, is there a resource (In Russian) similar to Planet Love for the ladies side? Perhaps I should just recomend the free sites or the major agencies?

Anyhelp would be appreciated, I think I'm just going to scare them with this huge list.

...for part of the rise in interest by some of the locals.  Maybe her friends decided that there are good guys out there that will marry a girl from Eastern Europe.  I hope the interest isn't because they want to scam us.

Ken,

Preferred sites are simply those with our logo.  They get preferred listing (higher on the page) for linking to our site.

I'd just give the ladies the entire list and have them check into them themselves.  Joining more than one is best in order to increase their chances of finding a man.
