Title: Marriage slated for 18 Sep...Yesssss Post by: James B on September 05, 2002, 04:00:00 AM Well, after 26 months, a combined 1500 letters, five trips between the two of us, hundreds of telephone calls and who knows how many bureacratic hurdles and worries, we are about to be married. My Fiancee and her daughter arrive here at the military base in Iceland on 12 Sep and will marry six days later.
I will say that this process is not for the weak of heart, but if you find the one that is right for you, then time, difficulties and distance will never alter your course to consummate your life with her. We often overlook the value of a site like this and another I have used called Brama for travel tips. There is often a post that is put up or and little bit of experience I have been able to share to a curious searcher that has reciprocated value to all of us. I hope to get some pics up if I can figure out how to post for all of you to see. All of you are great supporters and I thank you for your empathy over the many months. I know that many are waiting with worry and impatience to have your loved one near to you and you will never feel completely comfortable until you are at the altar and the vows completed. I have not posted here as often as many people, but I am glued to the site for it's wealth of experience. I always enjoy most the trip reports, especially from some of you who have an incredible knack for remembering and describing intricately every detail of your experiences...good and bad. I do respect those who have tried several trips and keep heart to continue their search in spite of the fact that they do not find the right one. Mark in Texas has searched a couple of continents and his past trip reports were outstanding. When you find the right one, you will know that you know that you know. When you find a woman like mine, who will walk in the snow and sacrifice all that she has to your care, love and happiness, then I know that you can know that the beauty of a Russian woman will become evident. They really are unique and worth the waiting, sacrifice and money if you find your unique soulmate.
