Title: "active rest" Post by: robobond on August 25, 2002, 04:00:00 AM While browsing through an agency's lady's profiles, I came upon this description... "I love to master the house and to work in the garden. I like travelling and prefer active rest." I've seen the term "active rest" used before but I still don't know what it means. Any explanations out there?

It's merely a case of the meaning getting lost in the translation. She is saying she prefers holidays or vacations where she is out doing stuff (maybe skiing, hiking, sightseeing, shopping, whatever) instead of lying around on a beach working on her tan. |
