Title: Any news on the Visa front? Post by: Griffin on August 27, 2002, 04:00:00 AM MSC seems to be hopelessly stalled out.
Are Moscow and Warsaw still not issuing visas after the interviews? Title: Re: Any news on the Visa front? Post by: Jack on August 27, 2002, 04:00:00 AM ... in response to Any news on the Visa front?, posted by Griffin on Aug 27, 2002
The US Embassy in Moscow has stated they WILL be issuing visas the first week in September. First visa issuance will begin with individuals who have been waiting the longest. Thank you Jack for the update. Not sure where you got your info, but I have heard rumors of the same. BUT, I have not been able to get anything out of the Embassy, they just keep saying call back next week. It is almost as if, they are NOT giving an exact date, just so they do not have to be held to it. I know of about 6 people waiting, and noone has heard anything, other then sometime after the end of August, but again, no exact dates. So I hope next week they start issueing, and when I get confirmation that someone actually got a visa, then I will be starting to get happy again, and when my lady gets hers, I will be even more happier. And then when she is finaly here, I will get excited. But until she is here, standing next to me, I just try to stay positive, and not get my hopes up too much... Hope all is well with everyone..
