My fiancee's were a little too small, I was slightly worried, but they accepted them. It all depends on the INS modd that day, hope for a friday afternoon an hour before happy hour. Get new ones if you wish, then save teh ones she has now and have her use them for the next step, if she is in the early steps of this. She MAY need one or two for her physical(some places make them do that), and another one for the interview. If it's not perfect there, they would be more willing to let it slide, it'll be harder for them to say NO when she's sitting across the desk from them, and a doc won't care or know the diff. Dexion, So much in this process depends on the judgement and mood individual government officials. However, the rules are "no earrings". My wife has had her pictures inspected closely, and she has been asked if she was wearing an earing (in this case, she wasn't). I would not take the chance, photos are cheap, a rejection could be expensive, get new photos. In my experience, it is best to follow the rules closely, photocopy everything, and overprepare. You know... you're exactly right, I had totally forgotten about the "no earring" bit. Please pay no attention to the man behind the curtain. With mine, L's pics matched the chin/top of head spec exactly, but it was almost too small of an image by using the "totality" of the specs as proposed by the adit specification. Hell, I went through this looking at the adit photo specs and my fiance's picture of her and her son didn't match exactly, (width vs height specs in inches) but what the heck, it's "close enough"... based on what I thought. Time will tell. The only way I figure that this could be a problem for you is, is if some ins jerk has a bad day and a personal dislike for the word "dexion". |
