Title: CDs to Ukraine
Post by: MarkInTx on July 25, 2002, 04:00:00 AM

Update on the CD I sent:

It arrived yesterday. By my count that was 12 days.

I sent it USPS. They made me fill out a customs form for it, and I did declare the CD on the form. I think it cost $7.00 if I remember...

It was a home-made CD, but it didn't look like one. I made inserts for the jewel case and a label for the CD on my color printer, and it looked "real". I am convinced a commercial CD would have also arrived just fine.

FWIW.

I took a portable DVD player, a laptop, a Sony digital video camera, a kodak digital camera, a kodak APS camera, and numerous CDs and DVDs. I also had $1500 US Cash on me.

I declared it all. There was not a problem.

No one even checked my luggage.
