Title: re: question?
Post by: Del on July 14, 2002, 04:00:00 AM
I've been asked if I thought there was a demand for 'expedited' mailing service to (and within) Ukraine.
My friends are looking into offering a 'Special Delivery' service that will receive your e-mail (I've sent them MSWord documents) that they will in turn print and put into the local mail. At this time they can use 'Special Delivery' to 6 centres in Ukraine. Delivery of your letter would be within 2 or 3 days. Is there a demand for this type of service, and what price would be reasonable? Maybe $3.00 or $4.00 one-way?
From my own perspective, the price I paid for their regular service was very competitive with what it would have cost me to mail from here, and the delivery was a week to 10 days quicker! I did not use their two-way service , nor did I often use their 'human (not machine)translating', but when I did use their translating, I was pleased with the translations.
At present, they will receive your e-mail, print it out and mail it to your recipient, and they will receive and scan the reply from your recipient and e-mail the jpg file to you for $4.00 (two-way transaction). Please provide your feedback on the service and fees.

That would probably be a good deal.

I would have done it for sure.

It doesn't help th e"Signed Documents" stuff I am dealing with now.

But I would have paid $4.00 before... yes...
