Title: I-485 filing today Post by: Stan B on July 18, 2002, 04:00:00 AM Well we just got back from our I-485 filing and it couldn't have been any easier. The only paperwork that they asked for was the actual I-485 form with the 2 photo's and none of the other paperwork that they had on the checklist that they had sent us. She also asked us a few questions about how we met, if we had met each others family's and simple questions like that. She also asked our daughter about school and if she had any friends and if she was going to be a hula dancer.
And since we requested our interview to be on our island, we didn't have to go to the INS office in Honolulu. Instead it was at a resort that they rented some space in just 5 minutes down the road. Thus we checked in, got called for our interview 5 minutes later and 30 minutes after that we were taking a walk on the beach before we went home. I know that our experiance isn't typical, but I hope that all goes as well for all of you that are soon to follow...aloha Title: That sux.
