Title: Any experience with Missouri Service Center
Post by: Griffin on July 18, 2002, 04:00:00 AM
I filed an I-129F there for a K-3 Visa for my wife.  The phone message said "this process takes 15 to 21 days" until yesterday (the 21st day).  Now it says 30 - 60 days.

Will they change the message to say it has been approved when they do approve it?

How often do they update the information?

Holding my breath in Texas.

As I understand it, Nebraska is handling all K-3 visa applications nationwide. Where was it you were instructed to file in Missouri??

I filed the I-130 with the TSC and then filed an I-129F along with the first NOA (receipt) from TSC with the INS in Chicago, who forwarded it to the MSC for processing . . . all as per instructions.

see  www.ins.usdoj.gov/graphics/formsfee/forms/i-129f.htm

This is under the LIFE Act which, as I understand it, is a fairly recent development.

I was thinking about the "Travel Document" which is ONLY filed at NSC.

Sorry.

For information on INS Service Center performance, you can check out this link -- http://www.marriagebasedvisas.org/

I only see the Chicago Service Center listed for K-3 experience, but maybe you can check/ask around at that website to see if there is any information about Missouri.

I hope this helps.
