While I suppose you can obtain the medical exam early, it makes sense to wait until you at least have a file # assigned by the Embassy. That way your medical exam is less likely to get lost or misplaced, which has been known to happen. She can go prior. My wife took the overnight train to Kiev and had her exam done at one of the two approved medical centers there, 3 months prior to K1 approval. Look at http://www.usinfo.pl/consular/iv/fiance.htm Title: Re: medical exams Post by: thomas on July 11, 2002, 04:00:00 AM ... in response to medical exams, posted by snowwego on Jul 11, 2002
Does she know which doctors to go see? I'd wait to be safe. They probably have to fill out the correct form, and the list of shots is in there and all. Unless she has the forms already. But I'd wait to be safe. Title: I just asked that a couple of posts back- Post by: Oscar on July 11, 2002, 04:00:00 AM ... in response to medical exams, posted by snowwego on Jul 11, 2002
Seems that some people have differing opinions about it. As long as you go to a physician that is approved by the consulate and you do not open the results, I can't see why it would matter, but maybe someone will know more about it.. |
