Think Patrick is on the right track as far as wider exposure and perhaps better odds for the ladies. Of course given the thousands of profiles that are published on some sites, it's probably hard to stand out, yet attract the right kind of person. You might advise Mila to add some additional details about the ladies, for example number of children, whether they smoke, what their hobbies are, what they are looking for in a man including acceptable ages. A pretty face is nice, but there are lots of pretty faces acrosss the web-- I'm looking for someone with a compatible personality and hobbies. Even a free address has costs of time, etc. Title: One other suggestion Post by: Patrick on July 07, 2002, 04:00:00 AM ... in response to Re: my wifes friends. Be sure all the ladies photos show them smiling (sincerely). I know from experience that lady's who look happy in their photos get better responses than those who aren't smiling. Of course the main thing determining how interested men are is the lady's looks, but a good looking lady who smiles will get more responses than a good looking lady who doesn't smile. I would recommend submitting your wife's friends to as many agencies (low cots, free, or not) as you can if you really want to help them get as much exposure as possible. This site gets a lot of hits, but it's not going to produce the kind of results they could get through multiple listings in several agencies. If you find it offensive to allow someone to profit through their personal ads, place them in some of the free dating sites around the web. Since a few guys posted "not spam", I went and looked over his site. Since he's only got 4 or 5 ladies and isn't asking for money, I'll back off and say "OK, he is just trying to help out a few of his wife's friends", and I will withdraw the spam comment. Michael, Cherokee is not spamming, he is just trying to help someone. Title: Re: Not spam Post by: Alfred on July 06, 2002, 04:00:00 AM ... in response to Spam, posted by Michael B on Jul 6, 2002
I responded the first time this was posted her and got a decent response. I don't think it's spam, just someone trying to help out. I recognize the poster from the past. Title: Not so quick.... Post by: unsure on July 06, 2002, 04:00:00 AM ... in response to Spam, posted by Michael B on Jul 6, 2002
I don't see anything to suggest this is a commercial venture. |
