Let me ask this question to guys who went on tours and also
visited Russian agencies.

I find it hard to believe there are so many beautiful Russian girls in tours and agencies, is it mostly hype?

The gallery photos are great, but the tour photos the girls are not nearly as good as the gallery women.

I think these Russian website are full of ringers, but I could be wrong.

You ask an interesting question, and you will probably get a variety of answers... But, I think the question is misleading...

One thing is that you can't compare the methodologies.

In Colombia, there are all of those nice B&B's and the agencies are really the way to go when it comes to finding a lady.

In the FSU, agencies (especially the big two focusing on large tours with hundreds of ladies) and tours are not really the best approach (IMHO)

Even the guys who went on the tours years ago seem to agree that the tour is slightly outdated. It has just become a huge business for so many now that it is a hard way to find someone sincere...

As for: Are the Russian women true to the Hype?

Of course not. That's why it's hype!

But there are MANY women who are special in their own right -- forget the hype -- what's real is great.

One man's opinion... though I will admit to being somewhat biased :-)

I will say one thing, though... there seems to be a MUCH higher incidence of scammers anmongst the Russian women... I think it is a cultural as well as an eductaional thing.

I did not go on any tours but I did travel over there enough times to know that they are simply beautiful women. I picked my girl for what she wrote and really did not think she was the best looking in the world. When I finally went over to meet her I had the shock of my life beautiful was not the word and as pretty as she is she is even twice that on the inside. NOw as far as the hype , let me tell you what. When we were in her city it was like opening a (pardon the spelling) Versacci catalog or a victoria secrets catalog. I kid you not. They dress so elegantly and yet look sexy and still have a friendly side to thier look. I would relate it to a little kid being in a candy store. However by no means would I trade my girl in for another one for her inner beauty is my inspiration. Rick

Hi Bogota,

Well, I can only speak from my own experience..  I have been to Russia and Ukraine and I have never in my life in seen such physically attractive women.. Certainly not here in the USA.  Just about any street corner over there I was amazed at how attractive and feminine these women can be.  But the greater thing is that many are so terrific inside..

"Glamour" photos that are retouched etc.. well, how many people that you know usually look as good as those?  Not many.  I personally liked snapshots of the ladies because they usually were so much prettier in person, but it's hard to live up to the glamour shots, even for a Cindy Crawford..

Sure, there are scammers, I have met a ton of them, but there are a lot of extremely attractive women there that are really sincere, nice girls..

Believe me, the beautiful women are there, but you do need to be careful of scammers..

The smart guy will continue to use and read and contribute to this board long after he has married.

You may not know this Brian but once you have found your dreambride, your journey is just beginning. For some reason a lot of guys think the hard part is over once he finds his dreambride, WRONG! After all the work, the time and effort, the money it took for most guys to find there dreambride, once they have found her, the real job is just beginning. Now you are a bit different in that you did not have to meet any other ladies or spend much time or money in finding your woman, but you will be, for the most part, the exception. And in my opinion due to the path you took you will be even more dependant on this board.  

Brian most guys really need some type of network for there Russian bride. Hopefully you have met, or are in the process of meeting other Russian ladies who live close to you. If you have not done so, one year from now, after you have been married for 3 or 4 months, you will read this board in hopes of finding other Russian women who may live close to you. You will need this board with help on your INS paperwork, help with her conditional green card, help and advise with getting her drivers license and un-conditional green card.

Brian there is a reason why so many married guys are part of this board (and that number increases monthly) and it's not because there all dummies or consider this the corner bar.
